Launch of the "Egyptian Abroad" Consular Services App
The Consulate General of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Sydney is pleased to announce the trial launch of the interactive consular services platform, the “Egyptian Abroad” app, from 6 October 2026.
The first trial phase is limited to requesting the approval required to replace a lost or completely damaged passport. These requests are now submitted through the app only.
Please note that these requests are no longer accepted in person at the Consulate General.
Visa Issuance Temporarily Unavailable
The Consulate General of Egypt in Sydney is currently experiencing a technical issue and is unable to issue visas at this time. We apologise for the inconvenience and are working to restore service as soon as possible.
In the meantime, you may:
