Mr Mohamed Khalil, the Consul-General, extended congratulations to the Coptic community in Australia during the celebration of the Feast of the Nativity at the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary and the Martyr Saint Mina. The liturgy, presided over by His Grace Bishop Daniel, took place on the evening of Saturday, January 6th, at the cathedral in Bexley, Sydney. The event included the inauguration of a new church named after Saint Bishoy Kamel. Mr Khalil, conveyed a congratulatory message from President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the Coptic community. The liturgy was attended by various dignitaries, including members of the New South Wales Parliament and municipal council.
